Blanket Distribution by MIWF Delhi

24th December 2015, Delhi

During the auspicious month of Rabi ul Awwal, the Delhi chapter of Minhaj Interfaith and Welfare Foundation organized a heartwarming blanket distribution program aimed at providing warmth and comfort to those in need. This initiative spanned three days and covered two cities, reflecting the organization's commitment to serving humanity.

The first phase of distribution took place on the night of Mawlid Prophet Muhammad (SAW) on December 24, 2015, in New Delhi. A total of 50 blankets were distributed to individuals in areas such as AMINS, Connougt Place, Silampur, Yamuna Vihar, and nearby regions. This effort was led by dedicated team members, including Shahnawaz Qurashi, Arshad bhai, Mohd Belal Ahmad, Rizwan Qadri, and Mohd Sakhawat.

The second phase extended to Farraukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, on January 5, 2016. This phase, led by Aman Khan from MQI Delhi, saw the distribution of 80 blankets. The local community in Farraukhabad played an essential role in making this phase successful, with key members such as Tariq Muhammad Khan, Faiz Khan, and Vamik Khan actively participating. In the third phase, 15 blankets were distributed at a Delhi madrasa (Islamic school) located in Nangloi. The heartwarming gesture of providing blankets to those in need was met with gratitude and appreciation from the recipients.

It is worth noting that there are plans to name the madrasa after MQI guidance, reflecting the lasting impact of the organization's humanitarian efforts. Through initiatives like these, Minhaj Interfaith and Welfare Foundation continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those less fortunate, exemplifying the spirit of compassion and service promoted by the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
